Mark Collins successfully defended the Hitachi Corporation against baseless allegations that one of its state-of-the-art pneumatic nailing guns was responsible for injuries to a building contractor who fell from scaffolding while using the nailing gun. It is unusual for Mr. Collins to represent a corporation in a product liability action. However, when the circumstances justify it and the product is not defective, Mark Collins will represent the party who is being wrongfully sued. The Ubeda lawsuit is a case in point.
